Our aim is to have skiers of the same ability in each class,
grouped according to your present skiing level.
If the ability of one individual is markedly slowing down
the progress of the rest of the group, we are obliged to transfer this student
to a lower class (which is always a bit frustrating !).
Please try not to overestimate your ability.
If your instructor feels that your level is greater than
that of the rest of the group, you will quickly be re-assessed
and re-grouped. |

OUR
ADVICE:
Unless you are a complete beginner, we prefer that you practise
a little bit and snowboard down a few slopes before you start
your class.
There are several reasons for this:
It takes a few runs to get the feeling of your snowboard
when you put them on again for the first time in the
season. It is quite common for children who have grown
a lot from one season to the next to take a while to
find their "feet" on their snowboard.
A few practise runs will give you the opportunity
to try out your equipment so that you don't arrive at
your class to find that you can't put on your snowboard.
It gives you the opportunity to find a few landmarks
in the resort (meeting points, etc.). |
